Vivre la France! Here’s an assembly style recipe for a dessert salad. It’s our treat for Independence Day, but since today is Bastille Day you can celebrate les français too.
strawberries
orange
Grand Marnier (adult option)
sugar (optional)
blueberries
buffalo mozzarella
sea salt
1. Slice strawberries. Grate in about a teaspoon of orange zest. Add a splash of orange liquor or a squeeze of fresh juice. Add a small pinch of sea salt and a bit of sugar if berries are tart. Let rest for 30 min to 3 hours.
2. Layer cheese and berries artfully. Drizzle juices over the top of creation. Add the smallest pinch of sea salt and a light sprinkle of sugar. Bon appetite!
