Everglades

 My two cousins came for a visit right before the holidays.  Both are gorgeous and in their late 20s.  I expected them to want a lot of beach time, but they were most interested in visiting the Everglades. 

Before we were married my husband and I always bought an annual pass to Shark Valley, an oddly-named state park which offers a 14 mile tram, bike or walk through the Everglades.  We used to ride our bikes every other month, encountering alligators and amazing fauna along the way.  Having babies made me wary, but we took my cousins, along with the boys in their wagon,  I’m relieved to report that everyone survived with only a brief moment of panic on my part when tourists harassed an open-mouthed gator I had yet to pass.  Here are the snapshots:
