This frozen cocktail is blissfully delicious and just in time to celebrate summer. Sweet frozen mangoes pair beautifully with a deep amaretto liqueur. This recipe serves two, but please feel free to multiply.
Mango Amaretto Daiquiri
2 1/2 c frozen mango chunks
juice of 1/2 a lemon
2 ounces of amaretto (Disaronno)
optional splash of almond milk
optional turbinado sugar (Sugar in the Raw) for rimming the glass
1. Blitz all but the sugar in a blender, adding a splash of almond milk if you please.
2. If you want to serve it like me, run the cut side of a lemon around the rim of your glass. Immediately dip it into a dish of turbinado sugar, swirling to coat. Serve and enjoy!
