Mango Amaretto Daiquiri

Cheers!

Mango Amaretto Daiquiri

This frozen cocktail is blissfully delicious and just in time to celebrate summer.  Sweet frozen mangoes pair beautifully with a deep amaretto liqueur.  This recipe serves two, but please feel free to multiply.

Cheers! Here's a delectable way to begin a summer evening.
Ingredients
  • 2½ c frozen mango chunks
  • juice of ½ a lemon
  • 2 ounces of amaretto (Disaronno)
  • optional splash of almond milk
  • optional turbinado sugar (Sugar in the Raw) for rimming the glass
Instructions
  1. Blitz all but the sugar in a blender, adding a splash of almond milk if you please.
  2. If you want to serve it like me, run the cut side of a lemon around the rim of your glass.  Immediately dip it into a dish of turbinado sugar, swirling to coat. Serve and enjoy!
