Happy Easter!

We had a lovely Easter Brunch with family and dear friends.

Here was our buffet.

Max and Jack baked these carrot cake cupcakes, and Max decorated them!

Springtime Fritatta, fruit, artisan bread and homemade strawberry jam.

My masterpiece: Meyer Lemon Meringue Tart with Amaretti Cookie Crust!

Our table.

I used a Martha Stewart idea for placecards.

Oh, yes, I dressed him like a sailor. Isn't that a right of passage for all one year olds?

My big little boy.
Hours of playtime in the sandbox with Easter eggs and new sand toys while the grown-ups lingered at the table.

To sum up the day: perfection.
