The moon was out early this evening, so I could point it out to the boys. Their bedtime is early, so usually they don’t get to see it. When I told Max it was right above my head, he tore down the driveway catch a glimpse.
He crooked his neck back for a clear view, then reached his hands to the sky.
“I can’t reach the moon,” he said.
I copied his movement and said I couldn’t reach it either.
He had a solution.
“I’m gonna get a tow truck and tow the moon.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. I’m gonna tow the moon.”
All this is leading to a warning: Watch out for tidal waves tonight!
