I didn’t want much for my birthday, just one perfect day.
And that’s what I got.
Witnessing the birth of my birthday was worth the early trek to the ocean. This was my first sight.
This photo is cropped like crazy because it shows the beautiful sliver of a daytime moon which greeted me like a smile. The star to the left is probably a planet, but I took this sight as a smile and twinkle from the universe to me.
One minute of pink and I knew it was time to go home and kiss my everyday presents: my boys.

Went home for a third wardrobe change and headed up to Hollywood beach for lunch on the Inter-coastal Waterway!
I love that my perfect day is spent with the three most handsome men on the planet!

My party table halfway done. My neighbor gave me these amazing roses! I made Paris Bistro Beans, Spanish Chickpeas, Artisan Bread, a Caramelized Onion and Goat Cheese Tart, Cheese Pizza and Truffle Popcorn for dinner.
This was my cake: Lemony Lemon with a Whipped Chocolate Ganache Filling and Marzipan Roses!
I make so many cakes for other people, it was fun to finally make one for myself!
Max and Jack were the decorating committee.
