Mom on the Go!

I’ve always despised the term stay-at-home mom.

First of all, it’s used as the opposite of working mom, with the demeaning implication that I’m not contributing anything.

Secondly, it’s completely inaccurate.  I don’t have an office, but that doesn’t mean I stay at home.  My kiddos would go nuts if we didn’t get out.  Case in point: this week’s agenda:

Italian Story Time
Nature Tots
Super Sea Turtles Mommy and Me Class
National Geographic’s Exploring Maps Class
Music for Munchkins

Usually I like to call myself a full-time mom or a homemaker, as those descriptions feel more authentic.  This week is so hectic (in the best way), I’m call myself a mom on the go.  Speaking of which; I’m off!
