Bloom Wherever You Are Planted

I dream of moving.  It’s in our five year plan.  Slowly, but surely, we’re fixing up our property and waiting for the housing market to bounce back.  I miss my family and the West Coast.  So often I bemoan living Miami, but that’s unfair.  There is beauty everywhere, and goodness in the here and now.  A short trip around my yard found an abundance of life waiting to be appreciated.

A baby pineapple sprouts forth from its mama we ate last year.

No arranging on my part. This flower had fallen on the ground.

Years after Hurricane Wilma, our mango tree returns to life with a bountiful harvest.

Royal palms magestically break through the clear skyline.

Healing aloe vera awaits our cuts and burns.

OK.  I will be happy in the here and now.
