The Future of Towing

This is what Max is up to these days: creating elaborate towing structures with his trike on the driveway, his trucks inside and his wheelbarrow in the sandbox.  It’s so much fun to watch him furrow his brow as he figures out how to add and balance more.

The other day we saw a car pulled over on the freeway.  Max asked what the broken-down car was doing.

“He’s waiting for the tow truck to come and take him to the repair shop so the mechanic can fix him.”

“What if all the cars broke down at the same time?”

“Well that would be a big mess and the tow trucks would be very busy for a long time.”

In case you missed it: that was Max’s first what if question.  I’m sure that he’ll be firing these off like mad and I’ll be teetering on the brink of sanity at some point.  But this moment is for marveling at my marvelous boy and what wonderful thing he’ll wonder about next!
