Happy Birthday Elmo!

Sometimes I feel like the only mom who follows the AAP’s recommendation that children not watch any TV until the age of 2.  My kiddos have only recently been allowed to watch Sesame Street and quickly became fevered fans.  Yesterday my mom’s group arranged for a special meet and greet with Elmo before a free wiggle-giggle performance at a mall.

First in line to say hello!

Happy Jack needed mama to brave the close up. We couldn't catch his enormous smiles when Elmo tickled his face.

Elmo performed songs we knew by heart, but even a small group can be a tad overwhelming to my little ones.

No matter how big the crowd, a mother sees one and only one child. My Max was not feeling 100%, but there he was in all the glory of 3.
